For the past seven seasons, Wes Williams plays the role of school teacher Paul Dwyer in the CBC ( Netflix Canada ) sitcom Mr. D. In this new season Dwyer has now been promoted to Vice Principal of Xavier Academy.
After seeing Tupac in “Juice ” along with studying Ice-T and Ice Cube in “New Jack City ” and ” Boyz In The Hood ” , Wes decided to take several acting classes in Toronto. He later landed roles in ” Paid In Full” , “Four Brothers” , “Honey” and “Redemption” along side Academy Award Winner Jamie Foxx.
Wes was also nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actor in A Dramatic Role his performance in the George F. Walker series ” The Line “.
